Back from "Purse Party"

First time in long time I went to a "girls party" It was purses and accessories. I bought a small purse almost got carried away with party atmosphere and bought a $59 big Buddha bag (tiny dancer) but I resisted. Got home and felt good about that because I need another purse like a fish needs a bike since I do not go to a job every day nor do I party.

I am going back to looking at my quilt mags, books and fabric. Definitely will start my quilt tomorrow while I watch football.

Quilting

I am a quilter. Well almost. I am in the fabric stashing, magagine buying, pattern collecting, book buying and all around collecting tools and paraphernalia phase e of quilting. Bought some fabric pre-cut squares. Thought I can do that. I have cutting mat, rotary cutter, etc that I bought at an estate sale for $2 soo I can do that. Well it harder than one would think.

I am now in a new phase visting quilt shops and buying stuff. My new goal is just make a simple patchwork quilt top of all pink/green/white and lavender squares as my first project.

I am also research quilt shows in Florida and San Diego to take the collecting 'stuff' to another level of nirvana. As I realize I get major joy from touching and arranging the fabrics, looking at the colors etc. Joy joy.
